The more intense the heating element, the more it will sanitize the moisture being released into the air, therefore, these are the preferred method for treating colds and the flu. However, these can use more electricity and also create a bit of a worry with kids or pets around as you have a hot unit. • Know the size of rooms for each humidifier. It takes just a few minutes to go around and to calculate the square footage of bedrooms and living rooms. Make a list and then buy different sized humidifier as you need them.
